Everglades, Sumi-e Brush Paintings

My Landscapes are Sumi-e ink applied to Japanese Gampi handmade paper. Many of the Everglade works were painted in a canoe, with Dr.Tom of The Wild Life Research Team guiding and paddling me throughout many different areas in the glades. Then I continue working in my Studios. One day, after a heavy rain fall the tip roots ”knees” of a hidden Cypress Tree capsized our canoe into an alligator nesting area. That day we were lucky.
